Mey Games 2025
The Wounded Highlanders Return for Their Sixth Year at the Mey Highland Games
Celebrating Courage, Adaptability, and Community Spirit
We are delighted to announce that The Wounded Highlanders an extraordinary adaptive highland games team formed by injured military veteran Jim Holborn will once again participate in the Mey Highland Games in 2025. This marks the sixth consecutive year that this inspiring team will join the historic celebration of Scottish heritage, athletic competition, and camaraderie.

The Wounded Highlanders set a powerful example of resilience. These veterans demonstrate that courage, innovation, and teamwork can overcome any challenge. Their steadfast involvement is a source of inspiration and a testament to the welcoming, inclusive spirit of the Mey Highland Games community.

Honouring Resilience and Adaptation
For six years, The Mey Highland Games have been a vital part of our event Calander. The Athletes compete in iconic events such as the caber toss, stone put, and hammer throw, showcasing not only their athletic skill but also their role as ambassadors for adaptive sports. Their presence is a reminder that true strength is found in perseverance and unity.
