Celebrating Heritage, Strength, and Community at the Stirling Highland Games
It is with great pride and anticipation that we announce our Athlete’s participation in this year’s Stirling Highland Games, one of Scotland’s most esteemed celebrations of heritage, athleticism, and cultural unity. With a strong tradition of excellence, camaraderie, and Highland spirit, our Adaptive athletes are set to represent both our community and the enduring values of the Highland Games on Scotland’s hallowed fields.

Meet our Team members attending this year
Our team, composed of dedicated adaptive athletes and passionate cultural ambassadors, is honoured to participate in this year’s Games. Each member brings their own story, strengths, and dedication to the field, united by a commitment to excellence and a love for Scotland’s rich heritage.
With 6 years of experience and a deep understanding of Highland sports, our captain leads with a blend of wisdom, courage, and unwavering support for their teammates. Jim holds multiple World Records in the adaptive highland games and aims to be the first adaptive athlete to throw the Scottish adaptive hammer over 100ft.
David has attended many games including Stirling over the past 6 years whilst picking up the World Record for the seated Scottish Shotput in the Highland Games he is always a one to watch when it comes to the Caber.
Kevin is returning to Stirling this year with the aim to continue to beat his own personal records. Kevin has attended Stirling almost every year the Wounded Highlanders have been invited along.
Maria has travelled thousands of miles to attend this year’s games and hopes to get her hands on World Records this year. Maria is the only Female athlete attending this year with the team.
Chris is returning to Stirling this year after a great year of competing in 2024 after becoming a seated athlete. Chris has been a team member since 2019.
